Bathroom Remodeling in Little Elm, TX

Waterproofing and plumbing built to last decades, then finished beautifully.

Bathroom Remodeling in Little Elm

The primary bathrooms in Little Elm's boom-era homes are showing their age in a predictable way. The 2000s spec homes across Sunset Pointe, Paloma Creek, and Lakewood Estates almost all came with the same primary bath: a big drop-in garden tub nobody uses, a cramped separate shower, cultured-marble tops, and a builder mirror running the length of the vanity. Updating that layout — usually by trading the unused tub for a large walk-in shower — is one of the most requested remodels in town, closely followed by the tired hall and kids' baths in the same houses.

A remodel that starts behind the tile

A bathroom is a small room with a lot going on behind the surfaces, and in a twenty-year-old home the waterproofing is often the real reason to remodel. We take a tub-to-shower conversion or a full gut down to the studs, check the framing and the supply and drain lines while they're open, and build the shower on a proper waterproofing system — because the failure you don't see is the one that rots a subfloor. It's the layer worth getting right the first time.

The trades that make it safe

Moving a drain, adding a curbless entry, relocating a vanity, or putting in the dedicated circuits and exhaust a modern bath needs is all permitted trade work. The state-licensed plumbers and electricians on the job pull their own permits for it, so the parts hidden inside the walls and floor are inspected and on record before the tile ever goes up.

Permitting through the Town of Little Elm

A bathroom that relocates plumbing or adds electrical is a permitted alteration in Little Elm, filed through the town's MyGov portal and reviewed by the Building Safety Division at 100 W. Eldorado Parkway. The town requires every contractor to set up a "Collaborator" account in MyGov before it will issue a permit — we keep ours current and file under it, so the permitting is on us. For a straightforward bath the paperwork is light, and Little Elm's ten-business-day plan-review target keeps even the permitted jobs moving.

Working with The Remo Guys

We're an insured and bonded design-build based in Allen, an easy drive to Little Elm and the surrounding metroplex. If it's your only full bath, we plan the schedule and the sequence around that, keep the dust contained to the one room, and carry every inspection through to a passed final — so the space is genuinely finished, not just tiled over. The town's Building Safety line is 214-975-0456.
