The city has been tightening its requirements — as of October 1, 2025 it even added foundation repair, roof, and siding replacement to the list of work that needs a permit — scopes many DFW cities still skip. That same rigor applies to backyard structures and slabs, and it is why we build with state-licensed electricians and plumbers and pull every permit the work calls for.
